Emroy Pre-College Program- An academic program for juniors and seniors.  High school students can enroll in classes with college students, earn transferable college credit, and explore topics with professors who are leading experts in their field.  Students can enroll in credit classes or non credit classes.  Applicants must be 15 years of age by the date of registration and must be juniors and seniors in high school.  For more information and to apply to this program visit www.precollege.emory.edu  

SIU Carbondale Academic Camps-  These camps introduce high school students to a variety of career paths.  Programs include: Aviation, Radio-TV News, Young Writers.  More information at http://continuinged.siu.edu/camps-youth-programs/academic-programs/index.html 

Washington University in St. Louis Summer Scholars Program- Explore the realities of college life and enroll in two summer school courses.  Students can earn up to 7 units of college credit that will transfer to most universities.  To be eligible students must have a GPA of B+ or better, an ACT of 25, and be a high school sophomore or junior.  Institutes offered in the areas of: Environmental Studies, Leadership, Pre-Engineering, Pre-Medical, Writing.  For more information and application materials please visit summerexperiences.wustl.edu.

Loyola University Pre-Collegiate Summer Scholars-  This program is designed for highly motivated high school sophomores and juniors to preview college life.  Summer Scholars earn college credit as they explore subjects that interest them.  For more information visit LUC.edu/summerscholars or see your counselor.  

Nuclear Engineering Camp-  Missouri University of Science and Technology is offering a week long introduction of Nuclear Engineering for high school juniors and seniors.  Students will participate in a variety of experiments involving natural radioactivity, reactor operations, radiation shielding, and nuclear forensics.   For more information visit http://nuclear.mst.edu/ or see your counselor.  The application deadline is June 25th.

Lewis University Aviation Summer Camp-  This is a great opportunity for students interested in aviation.  Students will participate in multiple aviation classes, tour O'Hare Airport, interact with flight majors, and use flight simulators.  For more information and to register visit www.lewisu.edu/AviationSummerCamp.
